Living Intentionally Interview on Modern Folk Podcast

I (Casey) was recently approached by Travis Wiggins of Modern Folk Podcast to talk about what my experience has been like living in community, and the challenges of creating new communities from a development perspective. I invited my friend and neighbor, Carol Delmonico, a 19-yr. veteran of community living to join me to offer another perspective about living, raising kids, grieving, celebrating, decision-making and all the other invigorating and messy experiences that happen when we choose to live in relationship with our neighbors.

We need land.

If you are someone ready to invest in a housing project that creates a model of diversity and community well being, let's talk. If you are a land owner or developer looking to do something intention with your land, we are ready to hear from you.  We are looking for 2-5 acres inside of Bend's city limits to build our first urban neighborhood.

Looking for Land

In order to fulfill the vision of creating a neighborhood that provides access to conveniences, we are searching for land that meets the following criteria:

• 3+ acres of land that is located in an area that allows residents to have the option to walk, cycle or take public transit to high use destinations (groceries, gym, restaurants, public spaces, schools, medical, transit lines, neighborhood greenways) to lessen dependence upon automobile usage.

• Areas that are developing in a manner that supports community commercial alongside residential development to create complete neighborhoods.

• Areas away from four lane roads and highways that don't address safe passage for pedestrians or cyclists.

If you are a landowner who desires to create a visionary neighborhood for our community or an investor interested in partnering with us to create this model of sustainable, healthy living, please contact us today.
